The annual UWAA Veterans Alumni Reunion will take place on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at Urban Family Brewing Co. (1103 NW 52nd St, Seattle, WA 98107). The event will begin at 6:00 PM and conclude around 9:30 PM. During the event, you will be able to grab some swag items from UWAA and SVL, as well as a wristband and tickets for beverages and food.

The primary location of the event will be the 2nd-floor loft of UFB, but you are not confined to staying in that space. Family members and friends are welcome to attend. We just ask that you submit the number of guests that you will be bringing so that we can inform the food truck and UFB of total attendance leading up to the event.

Join us at Shultzy’s on The Ave during Veterans Appreciation Week (VAW) 2025, where we will celebrate YOU and initiate our first formal event for the Staff and Faculty Veterans Association (SFVA) for the University of Washington. No-Host means that food and drinks will be the responsibility of attendees, and it will not be covered at this time by the SFVA or the Office of Student Veteran Life.

The event will be on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.

Our annual Veterans Day Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Medal of Honor Memorial on the UW’s campus in Seattle. Registration is not required.

The annual Veterans Day ceremony at UW Seattle, Medal of Honor Memorial. Presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Veteran Award (DAVA) and a Student Veteran Speaker are some of the highlights of this event.

Campus parking is complimentary in unrestricted lots and non-gated facilities on University holidays.

Join us at the Medal of Honor Memorial during Veterans Appreciation Week (VAW) 2025, as we work to restore the memorials around campus for military members. This will include the US Flag Pole near the Medal of Honor Memorial, Medal of Honor Memorial, Entry Archways of Memorial Way, and if time permits, other memorials/areas surrounding them. Coffee and donuts will be provided for those participating, as well as all necessary equipment!

Join the University of Washington (Bothell Campus) in their annual Plant a Flag Day on campus! Students and other participants will meet at the area between UW1 & UW2 on campus and place flags on the campus for recognition of Veterans Day. On November 1st, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, you can visit the Seattle VA Hospital (1660 S. Columbian Way, BLDG 101, 1st Floor, Seattle, WA (98108) for a free legal clinic. This is open to all veterans, services members, and their family.

Volunteer lawyers will assist in creating simple wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Appointments are required.
