10 years ago, on January 4th, 2016, Student Veteran Life opened its doors to student veterans and the military-connected community. Since then, we’ve become THE place for our community to gather, study, get free coffee and study materials, and have a place where our experiences are similar on campus.

Join the University of Washington ROTC detachment for the 250th Navy & Marine Corps Birthday Ball! The ball is sponsored by the UW Blue & Gold Alumni Foundation, celebrating 99 years of campus student traditions!

The event will take place on November 14th, 2025, beginning at 5:00 PM at the Husky Union Building (HUB) South Ballroom.

Join us at the Medal of Honor Memorial during Veterans Appreciation Week (VAW) 2025, as we work to restore the memorials around campus for military members. This will include the US Flag Pole near the Medal of Honor Memorial, Medal of Honor Memorial, Entry Archways of Memorial Way, and if time permits, other memorials/areas surrounding them. Coffee and donuts will be provided for those participating, as well as all necessary equipment!

The event will be on November 10th, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Who: Graduating student veterans of the University of Washington Class of 2025. Graduates are those who have or will complete a degree in Autumn 2024, Winter 2025, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025.

Guests: Each graduate may bring up to two guests.

Parking: Graduates will be able to park at Padelford Garage (N20) or Central Plaza – Rates are available online.

Stoles: If you have previously ordered a stole, please ensure that you have submitted your payment prior to May 4th so that you can receive your stole at the Celebration of Excellence.
